EVENT TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE L'OREAL PARIS MEGABRAND EVENT AT PICCADILLY LIGHTS (the "MegabrandEvent")
By purchasing one or more tickets for any of the limited ticket purchase events forming part of the Megabrand Event (a "Bookable Event"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions regarding your purchase, and your attendance and participation at the Bookable Event(s) in question (these "Terms and Conditions"). Promotional materials relating to the Megabrand Event, including all information on how to purchase Bookable Event tickets ("Bookable Event Tickets") and what the Bookable Events will consist of, also form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between any terms referred to in such promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.
1. Information about us
L'Oréal Paris ("L'Oréal Paris", "we", "us", "our") is a trading division of L'Oréal UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 00271555, with registered offices at Gateway Central, 187 Wood Lane, London, United Kingdom, W12 7SA.
2. Purchasing Bookable Event Tickets
2.1. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase Bookable Event Tickets and to attend a Bookable Event. By purchasing a Bookable Event Ticket, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older at the date of purchase. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to refuse Bookable Event Ticket sale or Bookable Event entry to anyone who cannot provide valid proof of age.
2.2. Bookable Event Tickets are available for purchase exclusively through Eventbrite via the following link [LINK] up to one hour before each event. Please see a copy of Eventbrite's privacy policy here, which explains what personal information they collect and how they use it during the Bookable Event Ticket purchase process, and their procedures in place to protect your privacy.
2.3. Each Bookable Event Ticket costs £10.00 plus a £1.55 Eventbrite fee (which covers Eventbrite's platform fee of 6.59%, a £0.59 booking fee and Eventbrite's service fee).
2.4. Each £10.00 Bookable Event Ticket fee (excluding the Eventbrite fee payable) will be donated to our charity partner the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, (registered charity number 802567, with its registered office at The Foundry, 17-19 Oval Way, London, SE11 5RR). This money will help the Suzy Lamplugh Trust fund its 'Stand Up against street harassment' programme.
2.5. All Bookable Event Tickets sales are final, non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges are available after a Bookable Event Ticket has been purchased.
3. Bookable Event Tickets
3.1. A valid Bookable Event Ticket gives the Bookable Event Ticket holder entry to attend the event specified on the Bookable Event Ticket and on the date shown on the Bookable Event Ticket only, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
3.2. Further event specific requirements which apply to certain Bookable Events are outlined in the Annex below and will need to be adhered to when attending that Bookable Event. You are advised to read all information which applies to each specific Bookable Event before booking Bookable Event Tickets for it.
3.3. Bookable Event Tickets are subject to availability and there is a maximum capacity for each specific Bookable Event, which will be detailed on the applicable Eventbrite event page at the time of purchase. The purchase of Bookable Event Tickets will be on a first come first served basis and the Eventbrite event page will detail when a Bookable Event Ticket is no longer available for purchase.
3.4. Bookable Event Tickets will be delivered to you as an e-ticket in your confirmation email from Eventbrite, which will be sent to the email address you provided when purchasing the Bookable Event Tickets on the Eventbrite event page.
4. Bookable Event details and goodie bags
4.1. The Megabrand Event will take place at Piccadilly Lights (Piccadilly Circus, London W1D 7ET) from [10:00AM] (UK time) to [20:00PM] each day from 16 September 2024 to 23 September 2024, excluding 22 September 2024 where the event space will open at [11:00AM] (UK time) and close at 18:00PM.
4.2. The dates, timings, and locations of the Bookable Events forming part of the Megabrand Event are as specified on the Eventbrite event page.
4.3. L'Oréal Paris reserves the right to make changes to the Megabrand Event program, speakers, or venue, at its discretion.
4.4. Each Bookable Event Ticket holder will receive a free gift of a L'Oréal Paris goodie bag upon check-in for the Bookable Event in question. Ticket holders will each receive a goodie bag with an estimated minimum value of £64.00 which will include a selection of L'Oréal Paris skincare, makeup, and haircare products.
4.5. Product selection may vary. The values referenced in clause 4.4 represents an estimated retail value and may vary. The goodie bags are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative will be provided.
4.6. We reserve the right to substitute any product in the goodie bag with an item of equal or greater value at our discretion.
4.7. All products and equipment needed to take part at our Bookable Events will be provided by L'Oreal Paris. We are committed to creating a respectful and inclusive environment for all attendees. Please be courteous and respectful to the event staff and your fellow Bookable Event Ticket holders.
4.8. It is your responsibility to inform L'Oréal Paris of any allergies or sensitivities you may have to any of the products used at these Bookable Events. While the products used at these Bookable Events are generally well-tolerated, we encourage you to consider whether the Bookable Event is suitable for you with respect to any allergies or sensitivities.
5. Cancellation and changes
5.1. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Megabrand Event or any individual Bookable Events due to unforeseen circumstances.
5.2. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, Bookable Event Ticket holders will be notified as soon as possible via email using the email address you provided at the time of purchase.
5.3. In the event that a Bookable Event has to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will not be liable to any Bookable Event Ticket holders for any reimbursement of any resulting costs or expenses you may have already incurred in relation to travel, accommodation, any other related goods or service relating to the Bookable Event at the original or any rescheduled date, or for other form of compensation.
6. Liability
6.1. L'Oréal Paris and affiliates and partners associated with the Megabrand Event are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained while attending the Megabrand Event or otherwise in connection with attending the Megabrand Event.
6.2. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions that is caused by an event outside our control. An event outside our control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not), civil disturbance, government action, or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks, travel restrictions or impossibility of the use of shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.
6.3. We will not be liable or responsible for any Bookable Event Ticket issues or errors due to technical, connectivity or other problems, including, without limitation, any technical, connectivity or other issues relating to the Eventbrite platform.
6.4. We will not be liable or responsible for any allergic reactions or sensitivities experienced by Bookable Event ticket holders at our Bookable Events.
6.5. We will not be liable or responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please keep your valuables secure at all times.
7. Photography
By attending our Megabrand Event and any Bookable Event, you hereby agree to yourself and, where applicable, your companion(s), being photographed, filmed and/or recorded whilst in attendance at the Megabrand Event and acknowledge and agree that any resulting photographs, videos, audio recordings and/or audiovisual recordings (including stills taken from such video recordings) may be used by us, our successors, licensees and assigns for marketing and promotional purposes at our sole discretion.
8. Miscellaneous
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
ANNEX – ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC BOOKABLE EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FACIAL THERAPIST MASTERCLASS EVENT
If you wish to partake in the facial massage and follow along with Mina's guided techniques as part of this Bookable Event, then please arrive to this session with a clean face which is makeup free. There will not be facilities available to wash your face at the Bookable Event venue, but we will provide facial wipes if needed. By participating, you consent to the use of Revitalift Filler Hylauronic Acid Face Serum, Hyaluronic Acid Eye Serum & Watercream on your face during the event.
HEATLESS CURLS EVENT
By participating, you consent to the use of Ellnett & Elvive Extraordinary Oil on your hair during the event.
SLICKED-BACK HAIR STYLING EVENT
By participating, you consent to the use of Ellnett, Elvive Extraordinary Oil & MEX Hair Gel on your hair during the event.
BRUSH & BUBBLES EVENT
Please handle painting materials responsibly and wear suitable clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. We are not liable for any damage to clothing or personal belongings caused by paint. By participating, you consent to the use of these painting products during the event.
MAKEUP MASTERCLASS EVENT
If you wish to partake in this makeup masterclass and follow along with Jacinta's guided techniques, then please arrive to this session with a clean face which is makeup free. There will not be facilities available to wash your face at the venue, but we will provide facial wipes if needed. By participating, you consent to the use of these products on your face during the event.
PILATES MASTERCLASS & NUTRITIONIST Q&A
The Mat Pilates class involves physical activity. You are encouraged to participate at your own pace and fitness level. If you have any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions, please consult your doctor before participating in any physical activity. The Q&A session with the nutritionist is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for personalised medical advice. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for any specific dietary or health concerns. Please wear comfortable workout attire suitable for movement. We recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated.
