1. Understand the shape of your face
The shape of your face determines the shape of your eyebrows and the line you should follow to achieve the perfect balance. So, pull your hair back and look at yourself in the mirror. Do you have an oval 0, round o, square ▢, heart-shaped ♡ or diamond-shaped ⬡face?
Oval face shape
Your forehead is only slightly wider than your chin, and the width of your face is about two-thirds of its length.
You're in luck: most eyebrow shapes look good on you. So let your natural growth guide you, just make sure your brows are well styled and then pluck out any stray hairs. To preserve the harmonious, symmetrical structure of your face, avoid overly dramatic shapes.
Round face
The width of your face is roughly equal to its length.
The aim here is to give structure to your face with a high, angled curve.
For a characterful look, avoid lines that are too round.
Square face
You have a face with strong lines (angular jaw and forehead).
Give your eyebrows a curved, harmonious line to add a little softness to your face.
Avoid overly broken lines or shapes that give you a severe expression.
Heart shape face
You have a broad forehead, prominent cheekbones, and a rather pointed chin.
To balance these proportions and draw attention to your eyes, choose a rounded eyebrow line with a gentle arch. For added softness, you can make them the same thickness along their entire length.
Brow artists don’t recommend short lines that accentuate the width of the forehead and angular shapes which make the chin look even narrower.
Diamond shape face
You have rather prominent cheekbones, and your forehead and chin are about the same width. Curved eyebrows with a gentle arch balance your cheekbones and add softness to your features. Sharp angles and very high arches are not your ally as they overemphasize the angular features of the face or make it appear narrower.

2. And now, it’s time for the make-up
Bring your brows to life with pro-level techniques.
Three-point rule
This trick involves pinpointing the inner corner, outer corner, and the top of the arch for each brow to give your brows the shape you want.1. Inner corner:
Take a pencil and draw a line from the nostril to the inner eye to spot the perfect start.
2. Outer corner:
Use the pencil to draw a line from the nostril to the outer eye, marking the natural end of the brow.
3. Top of arch:
From the nostril to the center of the eye, find the top of your ideal arch.
Repeat on the opposite side.
Brush and groom
Use a spoolie brush to tame and shape. Brush vertically in the inner corner and then follow the natural growth for a polished look.Fill in the brows
Using an eyebrow pencil matching your shade, fill in the outer part of your eyebrows with light strokes to create fine, hair-like lines. Continue on the inner side of the brow: draw your fine lines by filling in the less filled areas, working your way back towards the tip. Small hatching strokes give a more natural result than drawing the brow directly. Finally, comb the brows with a brush to blend the make-up.Brow gels are also perfect to give you a fuller, plumped-up look in a couple of strokes.
